Growing up in Gwinnett County, GA, Clinton Davis was raised to believe that fixing things yourself is just a way of life. All of the men in his family were union plumbers and his father, Wayne, had a motto: “Never pay someone else to do something you can do yourself.” The everyday practice of this philosophy provided Davis with hands-on experience in breaking down equipment, learning how it works from the inside out, paying attention to the details, and taking pride in putting it all back together and watching it work.
